ET6.0 is enhanced on a daily basis. 99% of these enhancements can be immediately used by current users without any change in their database. 1% of the enhancements require that users' database be upgraded. For the latter case, we will supply upgrading tools to upgrade users' database. In both cases, users are encouraged to take advantage of the newly-added functionalities and download the upgraded prorams from our Web site.
To download new programs, you need User ID and Password. Every user with valid maintenance contract will receive new password from us at the beginning of each month. If you forget the current password, give us a call.
User ID is not case-sensitive; Password is. When you click the link at the bottom of this page or type http://www.torus.com.tw/et60/service in your browser, you will be presented with the following dialog box:
After you type the right User ID and Password, you will see a table with list of available upgrade programs. Spot the file you need and click right on it. A dialog box similar to the following will appear:
Save the file to a folder that is convenient to remember and work for you. The downloading time depends on the bandwidth available to you. Our download files are all self-extracting. You do not need an additional program to decompress them.
After successful downloading, use My Computer or Windows Explorer to locate the downloaded file. Double-click the file, and you will see the following:
Check the folder name given and modify it if necessary. (For example, changing f: to c: is a possible action if you are installing the upgrade program on a workstation instead of on a server.) Press Unzip button to install the upgrade. Once installation is completed, press Close button to exit. You may now delete the downloaded file that you saved to your disk a while ago.
