Right after starting ET6.0, you will see on the right half of the screen a
4-tier menu system. General Menu is the top tier. The 2nd tier is for major functions,
like Basic Files or Quotation. The 3rd tier is for subfunctions of a major function;
examples are Product or Customer under Basic Files. The 4th and lowest tier is for
executable programs. The icon for executable programs is 
. It is possible to find executive programs in the 3rd
tier. Functions and subfunctions are represented by folder icons: closed folders (
) can be further opened by
double-clicking on them; open folders (
) will have menu items expanded below them.
Double-clicking on an open folder icon will close the folder and collapse the contained
menu items. To start a program, select and double-click an executable program.
Today's Message
Before you actually use ET6.0, you could be presented with a bulletin shown above. You can pre-arrange such bulletin messages so that every user will see your announcement for the day.
To set up these messages, in Correspondence program, type "ET60" in To: field, the predestined date in Date: field, and your message in Text field. You may prepare messages for a number of dates in one shot.
